Each of these communities has their own style of homes and price range. Troon North is located north and south of E. Rio Verde Dr. and East of N. Pima Rd. Is close to the pinnacle peak Park and a surrounds the Troon North golf club. The closest amenities are on the corner of East to dynamite Boulevard and N. Alma School Pkwy. Here you’ll find a Walgreens, UPS store, Circle K, and gas station. The closest restaurants and shopping centers are about 5 to 10 minutes from most subdivisions within Troon North.


Each subdivision in Troon North has their own style of homes. Some are larger lots of up to a half acre or more and some feature smaller homes such as townhouses and condominiums with low maintenance. Nearly all the homes have some view of the golf course if not border the golf course itself. All homes boast city light and mountain views depending on which direction it faces. You’ll find homes from about 1200 ft.² up to 6000 ft.² and beyond, from small single-family homes to large three-story estates. Some of the homes are in gated communities such as Pinnacle Canyon featuring custom homes from 3500 ft.² to over 7500 ft.².

The Golf Villas is a luxury, gated condominium community with units from 1800 ft.² to 2800 ft.². The Highlands feature custom homes up to 8000 ft.² and on lots as large as 4 acres. The Echo Ridge is one of the more affordable subdivisions with properties ranging in price from $250,000-$500,000 and in sizes from 1900 ft.² to 3000 ft.² built by Ryland Homes.


Most of the homes in Troon North are gated, which makes them very desirable for people looking for a gated community around Scottsdale. Although there are other gated communities, true North tends to be the more popular one. Residents are part of the Cave Creek Unified School District and are served by the Desert Academy for Prekindergarten through 7 Grade, the Sonoran Trails Middle School, and the Cactus Shadows High School. All of the Schools Are about 5 to 6 Miles from Most Homes in Troon North.

HOA and Amenities

Him homeowners dues are between $20 and $200 per month depending on the subdivision. Homes were built between 2000 and 2010 and some homes are still being built out today. Association fees are paid annually and several homes require transfer fees. Association fees include common area maintenance, street maintenance, management, and amenities.

Troon North has a wide range of biking and hiking trails, two-family parks, nature and wildlife preserve, beautiful views, and two-family parks all within the 1800 acre master-planned community. Of course, residents have access to the golf course and several parks throughout the community. Troon North has an active social calendar for events, celebrations, wine tasting, call Midianites, and holiday events.

Restaurants, shopping, markets and more are all less than 10 minutes away and of course, residents have access to a number of entertainment options in the immediate area.
