Old Town ScottsdaleOld Town Scottsdale is located in the center of town just south of E. Indian School Rd. and north of E. 2nd St. This is primarily a historical part of Scottsdale complete with shopping centers, walkable neighborhoods, fine art galleries, museums and restaurants. It even has a farmers market open October 17 through June 11 on Saturdays from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM at 3806 North Brown Ave. For over five years now, this market features locally grown produce, specialty food items, organic fruits, vegetables and meats as well as free range eggs and local cheeses. The great place to spend a Saturday afternoon and one of the more popular spots in Scottsdale.

The area has many events throughout the year including New Year’s Eve block parties, the Arizona vegetarian food festival, music, concerts and entertainment venues all year long. Old Town Scottsdale is in the heart of the city’s historic downtown community and you’ll find Southwestern curio shops, artisan boutiques and high-end retail outlets. It is a pedestrian friendly district home to museums and art galleries as well. The Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall features over 225 stores and restaurants with designer brand stores, award-winning dining options, coffee houses and more.Old Town Scottsdale

Residents and visitors can take the Scottsdale trolley to Old Town and browse through some of the many contemporary and historical art museums and galleries. There are also hotels and accommodations in this area if you’re planning on visiting or having guests or out-of-town relatives. Buca di Beppo, Rehab Burger Therapy, the Daily Dose and other nightly entertainment options are all found within just a block or two from Old Town.

This is primarily a commercial and retail part of town but there are a couple of condominium buildings close by. On the corner of E. 1st Ave. and N. Scottsdale Rd. is the 4020 building featuring several condominiums selling between $300,000 and $750,000. Just down on N. Miller Rd. are high-end luxury condominiums overlooking the baseball field selling for upwards of $2 million. Just north of Indian School Road, within walking distance to several of the shops and restaurants are condominiums with studio, one and two bedroom floor plans selling from around $250,000.
